The multiple animations in one sprite. Well, you may not get it if you don't know the basics of Game Maker, but this is something serious that the game could not be without. If the build mode got bugged up, it could be skipped, but the multiple animations thing is serious. But anyways, let me show you some stuff that were supposed to be in TSOS2.
This is the taxi. It isn't anything much, but every time a sim moves in a home, the taxi is there, and leaves.
A half of the game screen. That part is on the left. On the other side, there are the career, the skills, the bio stuff, the aspiration points and the releationships.

Okay, this will possibly be really interesting - creating Object Shows. To create Object Shows on TSOS2, it is required to have a computer, install the animation app, and start an object show on a "website". To make it more famous, the Object Show needs to be animated, written and drawn good. Which actually means, the owner needs to upgrade his Painting, Writing and Animation skills. Each skills brings bonus fans. Fans are actually people who watch your Object Show. They change every day. And each skill point affects the fans amount:
Painting point = +10 Fans
Writing point = +20 Fans
Animation point = +50 Fans
Example: The sim's Painting skill is Level 4, which adds up 40 fans to his total score for each day.
The time needed for the episode to be completed also affects the fans growth per day.
1 Day (+100 Fans)
3 Days (+25 Fans)
1 Week (+9 Fans)
2 Weeks (+3 Fans)
4 Weeks (+1 Fans)
If there is a 1 day delay, the owner loses 10% of his fans.
The lenght is the last thing that affects the fans' amount. It doesn't actually affect the "per-day-score"
1 minute (+0 Fans)
2 minutes (+5 fans)
3 minutes (+8 fans)
5 minutes (+15 fans)
10 minutes (+25 fans)
15 minutes (+50 fans)
20 minutes (+100 fans)
25 minutes (+200 fans)
30 minutes (+300 fans)
The higher the level of animation, the faster the episodes will be completed.
Object Shows also have LEVELS. There are 10 levels:
1: 0 Fans
2: 100 Fans
3: 500 Fans
4: 1,000 Fans
5: 2,500 Fans
6: 5,000 Fans
7: 10,000 Fans
8: 25,000 Fans
9: 50,000 Fans
10: 100,000 Fans
On the "leaderboards", it is shown which object show on which level it is. But none actually reached level 10, because that is the maximum amount of users in that "website".
--------
Well, there will be Part 2 sometime, I guess.
